Updated 26 February 2006 Have updated Pete's Drain with some photos and some important exit info. Also updated Surprise Drain with some photos too. Just to help you find it a bit easier incase you where having trouble. Still working on the NZ stuff, have some great finds and will have a draining in NZ doco online shortly which should help explain a few things about the hydrology of this place and the limitations. More later. I will place a seperate NZ Update doco online too, just to keep the 2 countries divided. ------------------------------------- Updated 14th January 2006 Found 4 old old photos of Merrylands Brickworks, now online. Placed photos of La Perouse/Henry Head Bunkers Back online. ------------------------------------- Updated 6th January 2006 Took the knife to the code on this site to trim off all the redundant retarded crap that Microsoft Frump Page put in when I first designed this site. Now its leaner and meaner and will in future be edited by Notepad only. Its been 9 years in the making but I finally put up the speel on Underworlds Surprise, La Perouse. Bunkers was the only approriate heading but Ill leave that upto you to decide if you can be bothered visiting it. Now Drive, AKA Gavster formerly from Lugarno, dude, can you drop me an email as its been too long and you changed house without letting me know. Hmm perhaps thats telling me something? information @ bunkerboyz . org ------------------------------------- Updated 4th January 2006 Well, the site is back, minus some pages which Im a little miffed about. I still have the pictures which will get upped sometime in the next few days. This site was originally hosted on a free server which canned all my files (dorks) hence the reason why I lost bits. Then Panic (Urbanexploration.org) hosted what was left (Much appreciated). My site was then dropped again, probably due to lack of communication from me. Now I got off my backside and decided to get a little pro-active about this hobby again. I was fortunate enough to get an invite from the Caveclan to join them on a draining expo last month. We visited Hayvatts drain in Double Bay, Sydney. I have a brief write up under "Drains". You will notice that I have left out exact details of the drains location. This is purely and simply an etiquette thing. It is the Caveclans policy to not divulge any locations to non-members or the general public. Since this was not my discovery nor my expo I have righfully left location details out. If you want to know about locations, either check my other personal expo's or join the Caveclan. I am know longer active in Australia. Please note, most of my Australian site information is out of date but still of interest or entertainment to those in the industry. ------------------------------------- Upon my return to Australia I discovered the most depressing news. It had been over 12months since a person who I held in the highest regard for Urban Exploration had passed away. His name was , founder of the Sydney Caveclan. Im sure this is old news for everyone in the know but it is with these few words that I pay my respects. The Bunker Boyz where formed a few years past the infancy stage of the Sydney Caveclan. Born from a lengthy phone conversation one night with (Your not spelling his name right if you dont put in the <> ). I can only guess the year was approximately 1993 as according to my logs, its when the Boyz and I started to hit the Bunkers out at La Perouse (our first ventures). The last time I had the pleasure of an expo with was either SWOO ][ (in 2000) or the night of the Bankstown Bunker Raid of which skillfully escaped by leaving early. It should be with a great sense of legacy that the Sydney Caveclan continues on strong today. we all said some nice words about you even if you didnt want us too. And BTW Im only upto ides.txt, Geez, you write a lot mate. Ive had a few laughs along with a few misty moments. See you again, comrade', one day, in another place... ------------------------------------- Another small mark of repsect must go to Ninjalicious (infiltration.org). One dudes dream of spreading the UE word on a global scale with his Infultration Newsletter & Urban Explorers Web Ring (Now 216 active websites + 26 waiting to be added, including mine, again!). I can still remember Ninj's email asking me if he could add my site to his ring. No jokes please :) END----------------------------------
